The cost of electricity have generally risen in recent years. Prices within Switzerland vary enormously from one supplier to the next.

For our 16 injection molding machines and the tools, the water has to be cooled and the resin heated, which consumes an enormous amount of electricity. However, energy intensity and sustainability are of the utmost importance in our company, we therefore decided to invest in renewable energy sources and thus taking an important step towards sustainability and environmental protection.

Our new solar system consists of state-of-the-art solar modules installed on the roof of our building. The sunlight is converted into "clean" energy, which we use directly in our production process. This means that part of our electricity needs are covered by the new solar system, which also makes an important contribution to reducing our ecological footprint.
